The Tools page provides standalone improvement workspaces that can be used outside a corrective action. These tools are also available inside Root Cause Investigation workflows.
Available tools include 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, Process Flow Map, and Value Stream Map. Root Cause Investigation workflows can also include general investigation notes for supporting observations, interviews, evidence, or context.
Tools help structure thinking before a corrective action is selected. They are useful for clarifying cause-and-effect chains, exploring multiple contributing factors, mapping real workflow, and identifying delay, waste, rework, or handoff problems.
