Storage Limits
Understand total storage capacity, maximum upload size, and usage tracking.
Storage limits come from the user's active Storage tier. The current free tier includes 512 MB of total storage and a 10 MB maximum upload size.
Total storage is calculated from all stored file records for the user, including direct uploads and files produced or used by other modules. The usage summary reports total bytes used, total file count, remaining capacity, and whether the account has reached the configured maximum.
The maximum upload size applies to direct uploads and replacements. The effective upload limit in the UI may also be lower if the server PHP upload or post size limits are lower than the plan limit.
If a file is too large or would exceed the account's total storage limit, Storage rejects the upload or replacement before saving the new file.
